Supporting parents in communicating tutoring goals and progress, and ensuring those insights are shared with the child’s broader team. I collaborate with tutors, when appropriate, to integrate skill development into a cohesive learning plan so academic progress is reinforced across settings.

When a child receives executive function support, tools and approaches must stay consistent. I guide parents in communicating these strategies and, when helpful, collaborate with the executive function coach to ensure efforts are aligned across all settings—allowing for repetition, reinforcement, and stronger skill development.

Help reduce parents’ mental load by helping them relay therapeutic recommendations to school staff and other professionals. I collaborate, when appropriate, to support consistent communication and ensure care feels cohesive, manageable, and centered on the child’s well-being. 

Helping parents communicate how the motor and sensory needs identified by their child's therapist affect their child's learning and behavior. I collaborate with occupational and physical therapists, when appropriate, to support the integration of those insights into the child's educational plan and across settings.

Guiding families in acting on evaluation recommendations by helping them turn findings into next steps and communicate effectively with school teams and outside providers. I also collaborate with evaluators when appropriate to ensure their insights lead to meaningful services and supports.

Open and clear communication between families and school staff is essential for consistent, effective support. I work alongside parents to share updates, insights, and outside recommendations and, when appropriate, may connect directly with school teams to support alignment and ensure everyone remains focused on what best serves the child.
